Pine Trace Golf Club
Closed for Renovation

Reopening Spring 2026

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing you with the best golfing experience, we have

embarked on a significant renovation project.

When Pine Trace opened in 1989, it arguably set the standard for public golf in Metro Detroit. It has always been our intent to provide the best possible golfing experience to our customers. For a number of years, we achieved that goal. With a 35 year old golf course and facilities this has become a difficult task to achieve. We recognize that the competitiveness of today’s marketplace requires a response from us in order to reestablish ourselves as one of the leaders in public golf in Metro Detroit.

For these reasons and more, we have decided to embark on a significant renovation of Pine Trace Golf Club. The scope of our renovation will include the improvement of the tees, greens, fairways, cart paths, drainage and irrigation system. In addition, we will be relocating the driving range with the intent of creating an excellent practice area.

Temporary Closure:

To facilitate these exciting upgrades, Pine Trace Golf Club has temporarily closed its facilities. We anticipate reopening the golf course in the Spring of 2026 with our newly

renovated course and practice area.

Alternate Play Options:

During our renovation we encourage you to visit our sister courses:

Shepherd's Hollow in Clarkston

Cherry Creek in Shelby Township.

Our goal in undertaking this project is to again establish ourselves as a leader in public golf in Metro Detroit as well as expanding our offerings to include an exciting banquet venue. We are very grateful for your past patronage and we look forward to welcoming you back in the Spring of 2026!
